Document - Blue Hole Access, Middle Fork Snoqualmie River

Abstract

For many years paddlers used the Blue Hole Access to access the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. While King County has easements along the levee specifically for levee work, the easements do not provided for public access. The street end at 114th Street is public and King County owns the property at the Blue Hole itself, but a section of the levee between the gate and the Blue Hole is privately owned. While one could not legally cross the posted private property, paddlers can stop at the Blue Hole and take a break on the beach and parcel that is owned by the County.
